Raleigh Office

Paul Marley is a Vice Chair in the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Charlotte office. He is responsible for overseeing all of the firm’s brokerage activities throughout the state of North Carolina, with a personal focus on middle market assets.

Since joining in 2014, Paul has been directly involved in the sale of over 65,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $6 billion. He holds a BA from Wofford College.

Hunter Bowling is a Senior Director in the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group. His responsibilities include supporting the firm’s brokerage activities in the Carolinas region. Since 2018, Hunter has been directly involved in the sale of over 30,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $3.75 billon in the Carolinas.

Hunter has been with Cushman & Wakefield since 2017. Prior to joining the Multifamily Advisory Group, Hunter was a member of the Land Practice Group in the Raleigh office. Hunter holds a BA and Minor in Economics from North Carolina State University.

Rhodes Marley joined the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in 2022 as a Senior Associate. Located in Raleigh, his responsibilities include supporting the firm’s brokerage activities in the Carolinas region, with a focus on middle market assets.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Rhodes worked for Capstone, a privately held commercial real estate brokerage firm in Charlotte where he focused on multifamily sales. Since 2019, Rhodes has been directly involved in the sale of over 12,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $1.1 billon in the Carolinas.

Bo McHugh joined the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in 2022 as a Senior Associate in the Raleigh office. His responsibilities include supporting the firm’s brokerage activities in North Carolina.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Bo worked for APG Advisors, a boutique commercial real estate brokerage company in Raleigh where he focused on multifamily sales. Bo holds a BA from the University of South Carolina

Battle Smith is an Associate of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group. He focuses on multifamily land acquisition and disposition opportunities throughout the Carolinas and Sunbelt region. Battle joined the firm in 2018 as a Financial Analyst and has been involved in the sale of over 30,000 units with an aggregate sales volume in excess of $3.75 billion. His responsibilities included supporting all of the firm's brokerage activities in the Carolinas Region, with a focus on Private Capital the Triangle Market.

Prior to his role as an Associate, Battle was responsible for financial underwriting, valuation, and market analysis across the Carolinas. Battle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi.

Laney Orr joined the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in 2021 as a Financial Analyst, and was quickly promoted to Associate. Located in Raleigh, his responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in North Carolina.

Prior to joining the team, Laney worked as a Loan Originator for Sage Mortgage, a residential mortgage lending company specializing in agency purchase and refinance loans. He holds a BA in Political Science and Minor in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
