Craig Hey is a Vice Chair with the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office. Craig is responsible for the marketing of multifamily properties in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Northwest Florida. He has been involved in selling over 550 communities with nearly 100,000 units, which represent a value of over $10 billion. Craig has been recognized annually as a CoStar Power Broker since 2015.
Craig is recognized as one of the leading apartment brokers in the Southeast and is frequently referenced in trade publications and industry journals. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed notable high-quality and distressed sales, including portfolios throughout his coverage region.
Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Craig graduated from Auburn University with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in business. He and his family reside in Birmingham, AL.

Andrew Brown Executive Director
Andrew Brown is an Executive Director of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office. Andrew helps lead the firm’s multifamily brokerage activities in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida Panhandle.
Andrew started with Multi Housing Advisors in 2015 before the company was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield in June 2016. Since then, Andrew has been involved in selling 525 apartment communities with a total of over 93,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $9.6 billion. He has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker since 2019. In 2023, he was recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal as a Top 40 Under 40. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Auburn University.

Parker Caldwell is a Director within the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group and sits in the Birmingham office. Parker is currently the Build-to-Rent (BTR) lead for the Sunbelt, responsible for advising clients on the marketing and disposition of BTR/SFR assets. He has a strong track record with a wide range of capital profiles including institutional funds and both national/localized home builders.
Since starting in multifamily as a financial analyst, Parker has provided production support for the sale of over 525 properties and 93,000 units with over $9.6 billion in aggregate value. Parker was featured as a Rising Star in Real Estate by the Birmingham Business Journal in 2019 and he has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker since 2020. Prior to C&W, Parker worked for a DFW-based acquisitions and development group, focusing on ground-up office construction. Parker is a Dallas, TX native and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Auburn University.

Ben Thomas is a Senior Associate of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office. Ben joined the firm in 2018 as a Financial Analyst and has been involved in the sale of over 71,000 units with an aggregate sales volume in excess of $8.2 billion. His responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and the FL Panhandle.
Prior to his role as a Senior Associate, Ben was responsible for financial underwriting, valuation, and market analysis for the Birmingham-based group. Ben holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Alabama.

Tommy Coleman is an Associate for the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office. Since starting in multifamily as a financial analyst, Tommy has provided production support for the sale of 350 properties and 60,000 units with $7.5 billion in aggregate value. As an Associate, his responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle.
Prior to C&W, Tommy spent five years focusing on portfolio management at SunTrust and Regions Bank. He first covered the Technology & Government sector in Washington, D.C. then moved to upper middle market companies in Atlanta, GA. Tommy is a Birmingham, AL native and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Alabama.

Frank McGough is an Associate of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group. Frank is the Affordable Housing Lead across the Sunbelt, responsible for advising and providing clients with insight into the intricacies that surround the Affordable Housing sector. His extensive knowledge and experience in Section 42 Housing (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and government-subsidized rental programs is utilized across the 15 state platform. Frank acknowledges the shortage in affordable housing across the country, his role in providing oversight and finding the highest and best use for each client ranges from GP/LP Buyout transactions, 4% & 9% LIHTC syndications, USDA Rural Development, & Project-Based Rental Assistance programs.
Prior to C&W, Frank worked for an affordable housing developer coordinating HUD, FHLMC (Freddie Mac) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions as liaison between attorneys, lenders and equity providers ensuring smooth and timely execution of project due diligence, documentation, and disclosure from the pre-development phase through closing and project stabilization. Since joining C&W as a Financial Analyst, Frank has transitioned into expanding the affordable housing platform across the Sunbelt. He holds a BA from the University of Alabama and resides in Birmingham, AL.
