Cushman & Wakefield's Metropolitan Area Capital Markets Group is based out of East Rutherford, New Jersey and headed by industry veteran Vice Chairman Andrew Merin. The Multifamily Sales Team is led by Andrew Merin, Brian Whitmer, Niko Nicoulau and Ryan Dowd. The team is supported by a 15 person financial and administrative support staff.

The team focuses on the tri-state and mid-Atlantic regions and has extensive multifamily marketing experience throughout New Jersey, Westchester and Rockland Counties, Long Island, Upstate New York, Southern Connecticut and Pennsylvania. A satellite office is located in Stamford, Connecticut to ensure the best service and coverage.

The team has facilitated the sales of multifamily properties ranging from trophy luxury towers along the Hudson Waterfront Gold Coast to infill development projects within a number of the region’s prominent suburban communities. Institutional-grade offerings have historically comprised a dominant portion of volume. Also, the team is well versed in land sales and equity sources for joint ventures.

The team’s deep bench of qualified national and local contacts ranging from income investors, condominium converters and developers has been instrumental in garnering a majority share of trades within the tri-state and mid-atlantic regions.
