    Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Virgilio spent nearly a decade at Colliers International, where he rose to the role of Vice President and became one of the top investment sales brokers in the Miami office. During his tenure, he cultivated a reputation for sourcing undervalued assets, assembling large-scale development sites, and navigating competitive bid processes with precision. His experience at Colliers laid the foundation for the institutional execution, strategic thinking, and client-centric advisory style he is known for today.

    Throughout his career, Virgilio has been directly involved in more than $2 billion in completed transactions spanning multifamily assets, development sites, and mixed-use opportunities across core and emerging South Florida submarkets. As Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Florida Institutional Multifamily Advisory & Capital Markets team, Mitash focuses on representing institutional and private clients in the strategic acquisition and disposition of multifamily and development assets throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

    Renowned for his deep market knowledge, analytical expertise, and relationship-driven approach, Mitash advises clients on complex redevelopment opportunities, Live Local Act density strategies, high-rise zoning, and value-add repositioning across key submarkets including Wynwood, Edgewater, Brickell, Miami Gardens, Hollywood, and Hialeah. His track record includes numerous high-profile transactions ranging from infill redevelopment sites to stabilized multifamily portfolios and mixed-use assemblages.

    Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mitash served as Vice President at Colliers International, where he built a reputation as a trusted advisor and dealmaker known for crafting creative transaction structures and delivering superior results for his clients. He is experienced in underwriting, valuation modeling, and negotiating complex deals involving joint ventures, note sales, redevelopment plays, and institutional dispositions.

    In addition to his brokerage career, Mitash is an entrepreneur and investor, owning and operating multiple franchise businesses including Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon locations, further enhancing his perspective on retail operations and real estate fundamentals.
