  • Jimmy Adams

    Jimmy Adams is an Executive Vice Chair for the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office. Jimmy helped to establish the firm’s presence in Alabama in 2005, and his Birmingham-based team has closed nearly 550 transactions totaling 100,000 units and $7 billion throughout Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and the FL Panhandle.

    Jimmy is recognized as one of the leading apartment brokers in the Southeast, and is frequently referenced in trade publications and industry journals. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed notable high quality and distressed sales, including portfolios in Birmingham, Mobile, Pensacola, and Little Rock. Jimmy holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

  • Craig Hey

    Craig Hey is an Executive Director with the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office.  Craig works closely with Jimmy Adams in the marketing of multifamily properties in Alabama, Mississippi, and Northwest Florida. He has been involved in selling 297 communities with over 61,000 units which represent a value of over $4.7 billion. Craig has been recognized annually as a CoStar Power Broker since 2015.

    Prior to his brokerage career, Craig worked in commercial construction management for Hoar Construction based out of Birmingham, AL and for ForeSite LLC, where he handled Property Acquisitions, Business Development and Managed the development process for key clients in MS, AL, FL, AR, and VA. Craig is from Jackson, MS and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business from Auburn University.

  • Andrew Brown

    Andrew Brown is a Director of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office.  His responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida Panhandle.

    Since 2015, Andrew has been involved in selling 275 apartment communities with a total of over 57,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $4.5 billion.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Auburn University.

  • Martin Bynum

    Martin Bynum joined the Cushman & Wakefield Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group as a Director in the Northwest Arkansas office in 2020. Martin offices in NW Arkansas, and works closely with the Gulf States Team in Birmingham, AL in the marketing and sales of land sites, conventional and tax credit multifamily properties across Arkansas.

    Martin began his financial services career at Accenture in Charlotte, NC by performing business process consulting at institutions such as Bank of America, SunTrust and Wachovia.  From 2004-2019, Martin served as a Managing Director in the Institutional Equity Group at Stephens Inc in Little Rock, AR.  While there, he oversaw an investment sales team that advised large institutional equity fund managers throughout North America.

    Originally from central Arkansas, Martin and his family now reside in Bentonville, AR.  Martin holds a BA in Microbiology and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.

  • Parker Caldwell

    Parker Caldwell is an Associate of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office. Since starting in multifamily as a financial analyst, Parker has provided production support for the sale of over 57,000 units with $4.5 billion in aggregate value. As an Associate, his responsibilities now include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. In 2019, Parker was featured as a Rising Star in Real Estate by the Birmingham Business Journal.

    Prior to C&W, Parker worked for Transwestern’s acquisitions and development group, focusing on ground-up office construction. Parker is a Dallas, TX native and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Auburn University.

  • Ben Thomas

    Ben Thomas is an Associate of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Birmingham office. Ben joined the firm in 2018 as a Financial Analyst and has been involved in the sale of over 50,000 units with an aggregate sales volume in excess of $4.3 billion. His responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and the FL Panhandle.

    Prior to his role as an Associate, Ben was responsible for financial underwriting, valuation, and market analysis for the Birmingham-based group. Ben holds a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Alabama.
