Nashville Office

Tyler Mayo joined the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in 2022 as Managing Director in the Nashville office. His responsibilities include supporting the firm’s brokerage activities throughout Tennessee. With over 6 years of experience totaling $1B in sales volume, he will continue to focus on value-add and new construction investment sales throughout the state.

Tyler earned a BBA in Finance and an MBA with a joint concentration in Finance and Real Estate from Mississippi State University.

Nelson Abels is an Executive Managing Director of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group. Based in the Atlanta office, his responsibilities include supporting all of the firm's brokerage activities focused in secondary and tertiary markets throughout Central to Coastal Georgia.

Since 2014, Nelson has been directly involved in the sale of over 62,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $6.4 billion. Nelson holds a BBA in Economics from the University of Georgia.

Taylor Bird is an Executive Managing Director with the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Augusta office. He leads the firm's brokerage activities in secondary and tertiary markets throughout Georgia. In 2019, he received Connect CRE's Next Generation Award for his talent, drive, and influence in the commercial real estate industry.

Since 2012, Taylor has been involved in selling over 380 apartment communities with a total of over 62,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $6.6 billion. Taylor holds a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.

Jaime Slocumb is a Senior Transaction Manager with the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. She leads the firm's Transaction Management activities throughout Georgia and Tennessee. Recognized as one of the only brokerage firms to offer specialized Transaction Management care throughout the Due Diligence & Closing process, Jaime provides our clients with a full-service, white glove experience.

Since joining the team in 2019, Jaime has been involved in selling over 200 apartment communities with a total of over 35,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $5 billion. Jaime began her real estate career in 2013 at Colliers International where she helped managed all brokerage activity throughout secondary markets in the Southeast. Jaime holds a BA in Journalism from Georgia State University.
