  • Mike Kemether

    Mike Kemether joined the Cushman & Wakefield team in 2006, bringing years of experience in development, rehabilitation, acquisitions, and dispositions of multifamily assets. As an Executive Vice Chair of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group, Mike has played a crucial role in over $50 billion sales volume since 2016.

    Previously, Mike served as Associate VP of Transactions for Archstone-Smith, a S&P 500, publicly-traded REIT with a market capitalization exceeding $20 billion. There, he oversaw, managed, and participated in over $5.4 billion in acquisitions and dispositions. Mike assisted in due diligence and other aspects of acquisitions while managing dispositions for Archstone’s Eastern Region, and managed development activities in Washington D.C., Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and Florida.

    Mike also performed all aspects of the firm’s Atlanta development, including site sourcing, underwriting, securing board approval, zoning/entitlements, and revenue management during lease-up and stabilization.

  • Robert Stickel

    Robert Stickel is an Executive Vice Chair for Cushman & Wakefield’s Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. Robert leads the firm’s brokerage activities focused on investment sales of institutional assets in the Sunbelt with a primary responsibility for Georgia. He has been highly involved in more than $70B in sales volume over his career. Also, he is on the region’s Leadership Team responsible for over 100 teammates.

    With a strong track record of delivering results and leading a team devoted to client service excellence, Robert’s recent work includes New Developments, Core, Core Plus, and Value-Add opportunities.

    Robert has been recognized for numerous awards, including CoStar Power Broker, Atlanta Board of Commercial Realtors Top Multifamily Producers, among many more. Also, he is active with the National Multifamily Housing Council, Urban Land Institute, Apartment Life, and other industry organizations.

    Robert holds a BBA in Management from Terry College of Business and was a varsity football letterman (1999 & 2000) at the University of Georgia. He is married with four children. Robert enjoys attending sporting events and concerts as well as playing golf, hunting, and fishing.

  • Alex Brown

    Alex Brown Executive Managing Director

    Alex Brown is an Executive Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield’s Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. Alex helps lead the firm’s brokerage activities focused on institutional assets and multifamily investment sales throughout the Sunbelt with a primary responsibility for Atlanta. Since joining C&W in 2010, Alex has participated in over $57B in sales volume. Also, he is on the region’s Leadership Team, responsible for over 100 employees on the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group team.

    Alex has received multiple awards, including, CoStar Power Broker and is a member of the ACBR Million Dollar Club. He is also active in several industry organizations, including Atlanta Board of Commercial Realtors, National Multifamily Housing Council Young Professionals, Atlanta Young Professionals, and the University of Georgia Alumni’s Association.

    Alex was a recipient of the Charter Scholarship at the University of Georgia, where he graduated with a BA in Real Estate. He lives in Midtown Atlanta with his wife, Sarah, and enjoys fishing and traveling in his spare time.

  • Nathan Swenson

    Nathan Swenson joined the Cushman & Wakefield Multifamily Advisory Group in 1999. Serving as an Executive Director, he has personally sold more than 150 multifamily assets representing over 40,000 units and over $2.5 billion in sales volume. Licensed in five states, Nathan has played a significant role in expanding the team’s regional platform with key transactions in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and the Carolinas. He has been instrumental in building the Southeast team volume to over $20 billion

    Nathan previously worked for the Affordable Housing Disposition Group, where he focused on feasibility studies and acquisition of workforce housing, with focus on LIHTC and Section 8 programs. Nathan has been named a CoStar Power Broker since 2009. He graduated from Emory University with BAs in Philosophy and Religion.

  • Travis Presnell

    Travis Presnell Executive Managing Director

    Travis Presnell joined the Cushman & Wakefield Multifamily Advisory Group in 2012, helping expand the firm’s presence in Alabama and Mississippi from Atlanta. Beginning in 2016, his primary responsibility is providing transactional services for professional equity grade assets throughout the Atlanta MSA.

    In 2021, Travis moved to central Idaho to help expand into the Mountain West Region. Over the course of his career at C&W, Travis has participated in more than 500 transactions totaling over $10 billion in sales volume.

    Prior to working for Cushman & Wakefield, Travis worked as a leasing consultant for Equity One, a real estate investment trust that owns/manages/acquires/develops shopping centers. He graduated from the University of Georgia.

  • Wesley Kenney

    Wesley Kenney joined the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in 2016. His responsibilities as a Managing Director include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in the Atlanta MSA markets, particularly within the Private Capital product type.

    Since joining the team, Wesley has been involved in the sale of over 30,000 unit with an aggregate sales volume in excess of $4 billion. Wesley holds a BBA in Investment Finance from the University of South Carolina.

  • Wesley Lacefield

    Wesley Lacefield is a Director in the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office.  His responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in the Atlanta MSA markets, particularly within the Professional Equity product type.

    Prior to joining the Cushman & Wakefield team in April 2021, Wesley was involved in over $500M of acquisitions across the Sunbelt, as an Acquisition Officer with Fairfield Residential and as Vice President of Acquisitions with Waypoint Real Estate Investments. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Alabama.

  • Ashlyn Warren

    Ashlyn Warren is a Director for Cushman & Wakefield’s Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. Ashlyn’s involvement includes supporting the firm’s brokerage activities focused on institutional assets and multifamily investment sales for Atlanta. Ashlyn has participated in more than $50B in sales volume since 2011.

    Ashlyn received Cushman and Wakefield’s Multifamily Rising Star award in 2022 and is involved in industry organizations, including Atlanta Board of Commercial Realtors, National Multifamily Housing Council, and Auburn University’s Alumni Association.

    Ashlyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Auburn University and a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University. She is married with one child and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

  • James Wilber

    James Wilber is a Director in the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office.  His responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in the Atlanta MSA, particularly within the Professional Equity product type.

    Since joining the firm in 2019, James has been directly involved in the sale of over 6,650 units with an aggregate sales volume in excess of $1.6 billion.  James holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Alabama.

  • Robert Yates

    Robert Yates is a Senior Associate in the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. His responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in the Atlanta MSA, particularly within the Private Capital product type.

    Before joining Cushman in April of 2022, Robert worked as an Investment Sales Advisor at Capstone Companies in Atlanta, and as an analyst for the Southeast office of Moran & Company. He is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and graduated cum laude with a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia.

  • Michael Kay

    Michael Kay is a Senior Associate in the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. Michael’s involvement includes supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities with a focus on the investment sale of institutional assets in the Atlanta MSA.

    Since joining the firm in 2018, Michael has been involved in the sale of more than 25,000 units totaling over $7 Billion in sales volume.

    Michael holds a BBA with a minor in finance from Georgia Tech where he was the captain of the tennis team and received multiple academic and athletic scholarships.

  • Sim Patrick

    Sim Patrick is an Associate in the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. His responsibilities include supporting all of the firm’s brokerage activities in the Atlanta MSA, particularly within the Institutional product type.

    Since joining the firm in 2021, Sim has been involved in the sale of more than 19,000 units with an aggregate sales volume in excess of $5 billion. He holds a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business.

  • Ben Thompson

    Ben joined the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in 2023 as an Associate on the Sunbelt Land Team. Based in Atlanta, Ben is responsible for multifamily land acquisition and disposition opportunities throughout Georgia and Tennessee.

    Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ben was a national sales executive for Penda Learning. He then went on to be the clinical team lead for Project Arrow in conjunction with Emory University and Grady Hospital. Ben earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a MS in Clinical Counseling from Mercer University. 

  • Morgan Berg

    Morgan Berg Managing Partner

    As the Managing Partner of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group, Morgan Berg oversees the 100-person 11-state Sunbelt platform.  She is responsible for developing and executing regional business operations strategies, fulfilling company initiatives, ensuring  the effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s administrative and operational functions, and assisting in the direct management of staff.  In addition to overseeing the team’s operational performance, she also provides training and support to team members throughout the firm.

    Cushman & Wakefield acquired Multi Housing Advisors (MHA) in 2016, where Morgan worked for 10 years. Her experience at MHA, where she advanced from Marketing Coordinator to Operations Director, provided an outstanding foundation for the responsibilities of her current role. Morgan holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Georgia.

  • Deborah Rogers

    Deborah Rogers Marketing Manager

    As the Marketing Manager for the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group, Deborah LW Rogers is responsible for developing and executing general marketing strategies, implementing company initiatives, and assisting in public relations. She is committed to delivering a consistent client experience by protecting brand guidelines and quality across all Sunbelt materials, as well as making data-driven decisions for the team’s listings. In addition to overseeing all marketing platforms, she also provides training and support to team members throughout the firm.

    Prior to joining the team in 2013, Deborah worked at Colliers International for nearly five years. Her experience at Colliers, where she served as Facilities Coordinator and Brokerage Assistant in the Office Services Division, provided an excellent foundation for her day-to-day responsibilities. Deborah holds a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida.

  • Courtney Lancaster

    Courtney Lancaster Senior Administrative Assistant

    Courtney Lancaster is the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group. She is responsible for day-to-day logistics, operations and event coordination for the Sunbelt team.  In addition to overseeing operational endeavors, she also provides training and support to team members throughout the multifamily service line nationwide.

    Prior to joining the team in 2015, Courtney worked for North American Properties and assisted with the grand opening of Avalon in Alpharetta, GA. Prior to North American Properties she was the Program Coordinator for the Institute for Culinary Sustainability and Hospitality at Kennesaw State University.  Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Leadership from Kennesaw State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University.

  • Jaime Slocumb

    Jaime Slocumb Senior Transaction Manager

    Jaime Slocumb is a Senior Transaction Manager with the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. She leads the firm's Transaction Management activities throughout Georgia and Tennessee. Recognized as one of the only brokerage firms to offer specialized Transaction Management care throughout the Due Diligence & Closing process, Jaime provides our clients with a full-service, white glove experience.

    Since joining the team in 2019, Jaime has been involved in selling over 200 apartment communities with a total of over 35,000 units and an aggregate value in excess of $5 billion. Jaime began her real estate career in 2013 at Colliers International where she helped managed all brokerage activity throughout secondary markets in the Southeast. Jaime holds a BA in Journalism from Georgia State University.

  • Sam Woodring

    Sam Woodring Senior Transaction Manager

    Sam Woodring is a Senior Transaction Manager with the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group in the Atlanta office. He leads the firm's Institutional and Professional Equity Transaction Management activities throughout Georgia, Kentucky, and Louisiana. Recognized as one of the only brokerage firms to offer specialized Transaction Management care throughout the Due Diligence & Closing process, Sam provides our clients with a full-service, white glove experience.

Sam holds a BA in History with a Minor in Philosophy from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
